Refund & Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans may change, and we have developed the following payment and cancellation policy to provide clarity and transparency regarding cancellations and refunds. Please read carefully. Karan Desert Safari Jaisalmer reserves the right to alter or amend this Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time without notice.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and so we will do our best to accommodate your needs within the framework of our cancellation policy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions or require further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us.

​Payment

For all services contracted, full payment shall be made in advance via one of the accepted methods detailed in our FAQs page. All prices are shown in Indian Rupees and are exclusive of taxes. 

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Camel Safari - In the event of cancellation of the tour by the User/Client, we must be notified immediately in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and we reserve the right to charge cancellation fees as follows:

1. Cancellation made 30 days or more prior to the scheduled safari date: A cancellation fee of 10% of the total booking amount will be applicable, and the remaining amount will be refunded.

2. Cancellation made between 15 and 29 days prior to the scheduled safari date: A cancellation fee of 25% of the total booking amount will be applicable, and the remaining amount will be refunded.

3. Cancellation made between 72hours and 14 days prior to the scheduled safari date: A cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking amount will be applicable, and the remaining amount will be refunded.

4. Cancellation made less than 72hours prior to the scheduled safari date or in case of a no-show: No refund will be provided.

​Desert Camp, Other Tours - As these are provided by a third party, the cancellation and refund policy for the Desert Camps and Other Tours remain out of our control. Cancellations and refunds will be as per the provider's Policy. We will of course do our best to aide you and liaise with the Desert Camp/Other Tour.

In case you cancel any trip after commencement, refund for the unused portion of any package will be solely at the discretion of Karan Desert Safari Jaisalmer.

Cancellation Policy for Travel Insurance. 

This Cancellation and Refund Policy is outside of our tender and will follow the cancellation and refund policy of the insurance company.

​We highly recommend notifying us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or modify your booking. Please note that any applicable refund will be processed within a reasonable timeframe after deducting the respective cancellation fee.
